Well known for his work with community foundations across New Zealand, Bill is one of five people from across the globe to have been accepted to study at the Center of Philanthropy and Civil Society at City University of New York (CUNY). More than 90 people from 45 countries applied for five places.

The month-long course begins in on 7 April 2013 at the Graduate Center of CUNY which is on 34th Street near 5th Avenue.
