Simon Collett is a partner specialising in property and trusts with an emphasis on mortgagee sales, residential and retirement developments, rental property portfolios and Public Works Act Matters.
Simon also advises on a range of commercial matters such as on-wharf logistics matters, business structures, contract negotiation and shareholders agreements.
After completing University, Simon commenced practice in Auckland at Cairns Slane. He joined Holland Beckett in 1999 and has been a partner since 2006.
Simon acts for one of the largest group investment funds in New Zealand, a number of on-wharf logistics companies, local property developers, commercial property owners and clients with small to large investment property portfolios.
He recently resigned from the Board of YMCA Tauranga after 11 years service and has now been voted on to the YMCA's National Board (sitting in Wellington). Simon is trustee of a number of other charitable trusts and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport in New Zealand (a National Section of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport)."
