Vanessa is a partner specialising in environmental, resource management and local government law.
Vanessa represents clients in relation to all resource management matters at Council, Environment Court, and High Court level, across a range of industry sectors. She also assists clients with advice on resource management issues generally.
Vanessa advises on a range of development issues, including residential development, and issues arising in the kiwifruit, port, and electricity industries.
Prior to joining Holland Beckett, Vanessa worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London where she was a senior associate in the Environment, Planning and Regulatory Team.
Vanessa joined Holland Beckett in January 2004 after returning from London in late 2003.
She became a partner of the firm in April 2007.
