Jacqui joined Holland Beckett in 2006. Jacqui is a Legal Executive in the Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.
She specialises in civil disputes and debt recovery matters including drafting High Court and District Court proceedings, summary judgment and possession order applications, liquidations and bankruptcies, enforcing judgments, and negotiating payment arrangements. Jacqui also has experience in Maori Land Court matters, in particular succession and vesting order applications.
Jacqui grew up on a dairy farm in the South Waikato. Following her tertiary studies, in 1999 Jacqui began her career as junior legal secretary in a large Hamilton law firm where she worked for two years. Prior to joining Holland Beckett, Jacqui was employed as a legal assistant in another Tauranga law firm for five years where she gained experience in property and commercial transactions.
Whilst studying part-time, Jacqui completed her first year law papers through the University of Waikato. However, Jacqui's legal studies have been placed on hold while she and her husband focus on raising their young son.
