Natasha van der Wal
Natasha was born and grew up in Tokoroa. After completing her law and science degrees at the University of Auckland, she moved to London where she lived for two years.
Upon her return to New Zealand, Natasha spent time working for a boutique law firm in Wellington specializing in Maori Land law and Treaty of Waitangi negotiations. She then gained further experience in construction, contract and professional negligence litigation at a mid-sized firm in Auckland. Prior to joining Holland Beckett in February 2016, she gained valuable general practice experience at another Bay of Plenty firm with a focus on commercial and property law.
Natasha works in both Holland Beckett’s Maori and commercial/property law teams. She is able to assist on a variety of matters in these areas.
Outside of work Natasha enjoys travelling and making the most of all the outdoor activities that the Bay has to offer. She is particularly keen on spending time at the beach, running and playing netball.
