Nicola joined Holland Beckett’s litigation team in 2017 and is based in the Rotorua office.

She previously worked in the Dispute Resolution team of Minter Ellison Rudd Watts’ Auckland office. Nicola graduated from the University of Auckland as a senior scholar in law.

Before coming to law, Nicola worked as a Japanese language interpreter/translator, including a stint working for the International Relations Group of the Fukushima Prefectural Government.

Nicola is a Bay of Plenty local having grown up in both Whakatane and the Lake Rotoiti region. Outside of work, Nicola is an avid hiker and has walked the Routeburn Track over 40 times.

Nicola has published in the area of heritage building preservation and has previously worked as a sub-editor for the Auckland University Law Review.

As a member of Holland Beckett’s litigation team, Nicola works in the areas of family law, civil litigation and dispute resolution.
